Critically acclaimed playback singer and music programmer Arijit Singh will perform at The SSE Arena, Wembley, on 6th June 2015. With him, the Indian singer songwriter brings a solid performance born of his participation on reality TV show Fame Gurukul in 2005.For ticket availability and more information, head over here.

Arijit Singh first rose to fame when he participated in the 2005 run of Fame Gurukul, a Sony Entertainment Television show that premiered in India that same year. The Bollywood alternative to the X Factor or Pop Idol; despite failing to win the competition, Arijit has gone on to achieve widespread fame across his homeland.This summer, he takes on a Wembley crowd to celebrate his success once again.

Singh was born in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, but he has always harboured musical ambitions that outstretch his surroundings. In 2011 he made his intentions clear when he debuted on the Bollywood scene with his song “PhirMohabbat”, used in the film Murder 2. Arijit has since gone on to record music for multitudes of Bollywood soundtracks, including Agent Vinod, Happy Ending and Pugazh. He is best known for his song “Tum Hi Ho”, and particularly impressed his British fan base last year with his performance of Rock on Music.

As a classical playback singer, Arijit Singh’s performance is steeped in Indian tradition – most notably the Bollywood scene. Creating a rowdy, energetic and ultimately enjoyable atmosphere at each and every one of his gigs, his performance at Wembley will not disappoint fans of the genre. On stage Arijit Singh is due to be joined by London’s Symphony Orchestra, promising a momentous show for anyone attending.
